Our drone is fully equipped with live video feed, GPS and a stabilised 4K high resolution cinematic camera with over 12 stops of dynamic range meaning that it can capture immense amounts of detail and colour depth. We apply industry leading techniques to our flights and in post production so that all of our drone videos receive the same high levels of artistic creativity and expertise as all of our other cinematic video services.

With our live video feed we can send up our drone and see exactly what we are taking photographs of. With our high resolution 12MP camera capturing 12 stops of dynamic range we can provide both RAW and JPEG images, perfect for print based media!

The days of setting up scaffold or sending a cherry-picker are fortunately behind us!
Save time and money with our drone surveying services. We are able to run complete analysis of structures, wind turbines, land, roofing, gutters & more within minutes. Our live video feed streams a high definition picture to our field monitors where you are able to see what the drone does, as it happens. We can take high definition images and record 4K video footage.

PRICING

We are happy to provide bespoke quotes and free consultations.
For a guideline our prices start from £175 for one hour of aerial filming, a half day costs £300 and a full day (which is rarely required) would cost £500. Cinematic/creative edits are charged accordingly to the workload.
We are happy to travel up to 25 miles of our studio in Colchester free of charge, additional mileage is charged at £0.45 / mile.

INSURANCE AND CERTIFICATION

We are one of the only fully CAA certified aerial drone operators in Essex, this means that we've passed a written exam, produced an Operations Manual and passed a practical exam in order to gain our PFAW (Permission for Aerial Work).

Our pilot has a live video feed which remains active during all flights, our drones are also equipped with GPS navigation, course lock, obstacle avoidance and many other important features.

We are fully qualified, licensed, insured and compliant with EU regulation EC785/2004. By choosing The Camera Guys you have complete peace of mind that all work will be carried out in a safe and professional manner.
