THE PARTNERSHIP

ONE BRAND.
A WHOLE CONTENT SYSTEM.

Social Shakes opened at Lakeside Shopping Centre with a bold visual identity and an enormous menu of highly decorated shakes. Our work with the franchise grew across several shoots rather than stopping at one film.

We produced a general promotional video, Halloween content, short-form product videos and an extensive photography library covering the range from multiple angles. The wider campaign also included logo animation and visual material for menus and print.

The value was in consistency. Product photography, video and social assets shared the same colourful, playful world while each format was made for a different job.

A MENU LIBRARY, NOT JUST A HERO SHOT

Food brands need more than one polished image. New menu boards, delivery platforms, seasonal posts and promotional graphics all demand different crops, angles and combinations.

We photographed the Social Shakes range systematically on a bright white set, keeping the lighting and finish consistent while letting the toppings, sauces and colours do the work. Front views, overheads, groups and detail angles gave the brand options for many different layouts.

The selection below is a curated sample from that much larger product-photo library.

PRODUCTS IN MOTION

SHORT, LOOPING
AND MADE TO STOP A SCROLL.

Three playful product bounces turn still menu photography into compact motion assets for social media. The wider slideshow demonstrates how a large stills library can become another ready-to-publish video.

PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

THE STORE,
THE PROCESS, THE ENERGY.

The main film introduces Social Shakes through the colour and pace of the store, combining product preparation, customer moments and the finished creations. A second cut captures the more theatrical Halloween campaign.

FROM LAKESIDE TO THE PRODUCT LIBRARY

A PHOTOGRAPHER’S DETAIL.
A VIDEOGRAPHER’S SENSE OF PACE.

The two sides of this project asked different things of the camera. In the Lakeside store, the promotional footage needed people, preparation and atmosphere: the experience around the drink as well as the drink itself. On the white product set, attention shifted to the shape of the glass, layers of sauce and individual toppings. A commercial photographer needs those details to remain clear even when a photograph is reduced to a small menu image.

Our role as a video production company was to connect that product detail with movement. The bounce clips gave individual menu items their own short visual moment, while the promotional film placed them back in the setting where customers encountered the brand. The Halloween material added a seasonal character without replacing the core photography library.

Across the collaboration, the deliverables extended beyond filming into logo animation, menu creation and vinyl design. That breadth is what makes Social Shakes a useful example for an Essex business choosing a videographer and photographer: the finished collection includes assets with different purposes, rather than variations of one advert. For the planning principles behind this approach, read our guide to building a product content library.
