THE BRIEF
PUTTING A SOLAR PARTNERSHIP ON SCREEN
Power-Zero commissioned The Camera Guys to create a client testimonial video at Mail Solutions’ manufacturing site in Telford. The film needed to explain why the print manufacturer chose commercial solar, what the installation meant for the business and why Power-Zero was the right partner.
We filmed Jon Higson, Mail Solutions’ Group Finance Director, then built the story around the environment he was describing: production lines operating across the plant, the scale of the warehouse and the rooftop solar array supplying renewable energy to the site.
The finished testimonial gives the partnership a credible human voice while showing viewers the system working in the context of a real, energy-intensive manufacturing business.

THE PRODUCTION
MAKING MANUFACTURING PART OF THE STORY
A strong corporate testimonial film needs more than an interview. During the four-hour visit, our videographer explored the factory floor and warehouses, filming wide establishing views alongside close details of printed material moving through specialist machinery.
This industrial footage gives every point in the interview a physical reference. When the film discusses energy use, efficiency or long-term planning, viewers can see the scale and pace of the manufacturing operation behind those decisions.
By covering more than the immediate edit required, we also created a versatile content library. Power-Zero and Mail Solutions can return to that footage for future case studies, social media, presentations and campaign edits without recreating the whole shoot.
THE AERIAL VIEW
SHOWING THE SCALE OF 600kWp
From ground level, it is difficult to understand the size of a commercial rooftop solar system. Drone filming revealed the installation as a whole, connecting long rows of panels with the Mail Solutions building and the manufacturing activity taking place beneath them.
Power-Zero reports that the 600kWp array is expected to generate 541,140 kWh annually, meet 16.3% of the site’s electricity demand and reduce annual carbon emissions by 121 tonnes. Those figures provide the business case; the aerial footage makes the physical achievement immediately visible.
Mail Solutions says the expanded system can power its 24/7 manufacturing operation entirely during the sunniest summer months, supporting its wider plan to reduce emissions while strengthening long-term energy resilience.
