HOW TRAVEL WORKS

For bookings within 25 driving miles of our base, travel is charged at £0.45 per round-trip mile.

For locations beyond 25 miles, we charge £49 per hour based on the estimated round-trip driving time, with mileage waived.

Parking, tolls, congestion charges, ferries and accommodation are charged separately where required.

For larger productions or multi-day projects, travel and accommodation can simply be incorporated into the overall quotation.

Where is The Camera Guys based?

Our primary base is in Great Horkesley, Colchester, Essex, with an additional base in Great Cornard near Sudbury, Suffolk. We work throughout Essex, Suffolk, London, East Anglia and across the UK.

Do you work in London?

Yes. London is one of our most frequently visited areas for commercial video production, photography, conferences and events.

Do you work in Winchester?

Yes. We regularly travel to Winchester and throughout Hampshire, including Southampton and surrounding areas.

Do you travel outside the South East?

Yes. Our work has taken us throughout the UK, including locations such as Derby and Manchester. For longer-distance projects, travel is incorporated into the quotation.

Can you cover several locations for the same project?

Yes. We regularly work across multiple offices, sites, venues and events while maintaining a consistent production style.

Do you charge for travel?
