HOW TRAVEL WORKS

For bookings within 25 driving miles of our base, travel is charged at £0.55 per round-trip mile.

For locations beyond 25 miles, we charge £49 per hour based on the estimated round-trip driving time, with mileage waived.

Parking, tolls, congestion charges, ferries and accommodation are charged separately where required.

For larger productions or multi-day projects, travel and accommodation can simply be incorporated into the overall quotation.

Where is The Camera Guys based?

Our main base is in Great Cornard near Sudbury, Suffolk, with a second base in Great Horkesley, Colchester, Essex. We work throughout Essex, Suffolk, London, East Anglia and across the UK.

Do you work in London?

Yes. London is one of our most frequently visited areas for commercial video production, photography, conferences and events.

Do you work in Winchester?

Yes. We regularly travel to Winchester and throughout Hampshire, including Southampton and surrounding areas.

Do you travel outside the South East?

Yes. Our work has taken us throughout the UK, including locations such as Derby and Manchester. For longer-distance projects, travel is incorporated into the quotation.

Can you cover several locations for the same project?

Yes. We regularly work across multiple offices, sites, venues and events while maintaining a consistent production style.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes. Bookings within 25 driving miles are charged at £0.55 per round-trip mile. Beyond 25 miles, mileage is waived and travel is charged at £49 per hour based on estimated round-trip driving time. Additional costs such as parking, tolls or accommodation are charged where required.

Do you work in Hertfordshire?

Yes. We travel into Hertfordshire from our Essex and Suffolk bases for business films, events and conferences, from Bishop’s Stortford and Hertford to St Albans, Stevenage and Watford. See our Hertfordshire video production page for details.

Do you film in Southend-on-Sea?

Yes. We travel to Southend-on-Sea and south Essex from our Suffolk and Essex bases, and have filmed in Rochford and Basildon. See our Southend video production page for details.

Do you film in Clacton-on-Sea and Tendring?

Yes. We travel to Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze, Harwich and the rest of Tendring from our Suffolk and Essex bases, and have filmed at Beth Chatto Gardens in Elmstead Market. See our Clacton video production page for details.

Do you film in Maldon and the Dengie?

Yes. We travel to Maldon, Heybridge, Burnham-on-Crouch, Tollesbury and the rest of the Maldon district from our Suffolk and Essex bases. Our nearest filmed work is Kesseler’s showroom launch in Witham. See our Maldon video production page for details.

Do you film in Harlow, Basildon and Brentwood?
