A customer story, a working process, an event or a campaign that needs to feel real.
We’re a video production company for Peterborough and the surrounding area, filming for manufacturers, logistics firms, farms, charities and event organisers from the city’s business parks to Stamford, Oundle and the Fens. We travel across from our Suffolk and Essex bases and plan each day around the site, the people and what the finished film has to do.
We haven’t published a project filmed in Peterborough yet. Our nearest work is in west Norfolk and on Norfolk farms, and every project below is labelled with where it was filmed.
A manufacturing testimonial filmed in Telford, exhibition films made across Norfolk farms and a charity film from west Norfolk. Each one is labelled with where it was filmed.
TELFORD / MAIL SOLUTIONS × POWER-ZERO
One interview. A whole factory. Four hours.
Power-Zero wanted Mail Solutions to explain in its own words why it chose commercial solar. We filmed the Group Finance Director’s interview, then the production lines, the warehouse and drone shots of the array on the roof.
It is the kind of film a Peterborough manufacturer or distributor can use with customers and recruits: a credible voice, shown against the real work.
Sentry needed two films for exhibitions. We filmed machinery, crops and people across a number of working farms, with drone shots to show the scale of the land – a structure that suits Fenland growers and food businesses.
BARTON BENDISH, WEST NORFOLK / THE PRINCE’S COUNTRYSIDE FUND
Show what a building makes possible.
The charity, now The Royal Countryside Fund, asked us to show why a small rural project matters. We filmed the village hall’s pop-up café through the people who use it, and delivered a three-minute film plus five short clips.
Choose the purpose first. We can shape the coverage, crew and final formats around your audience, locations and timetable.
01
Corporate & company films
Introduce your business through interviews and footage of your people and premises, from an office at Lynch Wood or Orton Southgate to a site on the edge of the city.
Show production lines, warehouses and the steps behind your product or service, with drone shots where the site and airspace allow, so customers and recruits can see the work for themselves.
If you need a Peterborough videographer, our team travels from our Suffolk and Essex bases. We cover the city centre, Lynch Wood, Orton Southgate, Fengate, Hampton, Stamford, Oundle, Market Deeping, Whittlesey and Yaxley, with each schedule built around the people and activity at the actual location.
Factories and warehouses need inductions, PPE and safe camera positions agreed; farms need access windows and the weather in mind. We sort these before the filming day.
Offices, professional firms, retailers, venues and charities in the city centre, and the business parks at Lynch Wood, Orton Southgate and Fengate. We plan around building access, parking and the working day.
Warehousing, distribution, engineering and food businesses around Hampton, Eye and the city's industrial estates, where a film often needs to show people, process and scale together.
Market towns to the west and north of the city, with independent businesses, schools, venues and estates. We plan each shoot around the town, the setting and the season.
Farms, growers, food producers and rural communities across the Fens towards March and Wisbech. For Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots and the rest of the county, see our Cambridgeshire page.
Tell us who will watch it and what you want them to do next. We turn that into a short brief, with lengths and versions agreed before filming.
02
Plan around the site
Factories, warehouses, farms and offices all have their own rules. We agree access, safety inductions, PPE, contributors and anything that must stay out of shot before the day.
03
Film efficiently on the day
We guide interviews, film the work and the setting, and keep the crew compact so production, shifts and visitors carry on around us.
04
Edit, review and deliver
Editing brings the footage together with agreed sound, colour and graphics. Two rounds of feedback lead to final versions for every channel you need.
CLEAR RATES. A PROPER SCOPE.
Know the scope. Know the cost.
Build the production around what you actually need.
A single interview and a production across several locations call for different plans. A good Peterborough video production company should explain the filming, crew, editing, travel and specialist requirements before you book.
These are our current production rates. We explain how they apply to your brief, including the final versions and review stages included.
Yes. We travel from our bases in Sudbury, Suffolk and Colchester, Essex, and film across Peterborough, Stamford, Oundle, Market Deeping, Whittlesey, Yaxley and the surrounding Fens. Share the exact address and preferred date so we can confirm travel and availability.
Have you filmed in Peterborough before?+
Not yet. Our nearest published work is in west Norfolk, at Barton Bendish Village Hall, and on working farms across Norfolk for Sentry. Our manufacturing example was filmed at Mail Solutions' plant in Telford. Each project on this page is labelled with where it was filmed.
How much does video production in Peterborough cost?+
Our current filming rates start at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator. Editing is £49 per hour. We quote the complete project around crew time, filming, editing, travel and any specialist requirements, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.
How is travel to Peterborough charged?+
Travel is calculated from our Sudbury base (CO10 0JA) using driving routes. Peterborough is more than 25 driving miles away, so mileage is waived and the estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Parking and other location costs are agreed separately.
SHOW MORE QUESTIONSSHOW FEWER QUESTIONS
Can you film inside a factory or warehouse?+
Yes. We agree inductions, PPE, safe camera positions and any confidential areas with you first. At Mail Solutions in Telford we filmed a finance director's interview, the production lines, the warehouse and the rooftop solar array in about four hours.
Can you film across several farms or sites?+
Yes. We plan the addresses, access windows and travel between them before confirming the schedule. For Sentry we filmed two exhibition films across a number of working Norfolk farms, with ground cameras close to the work and drone shots for the wider landscape.
Can drone filming be included near Peterborough?+
Often, subject to the exact location, the airspace and the permissions needed. Some areas around the city and the Fens are near airfields, so we check restrictions before confirming aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production starts at £199 for the first allocated hour, then £49 per hour.
Do you make films for charities and community groups?+
Yes. For The Prince's Countryside Fund, now The Royal Countryside Fund, we made a three-minute film and five supporting shorts at Barton Bendish Village Hall in west Norfolk, showing the people who use its pop-up café. The same approach suits community projects around Peterborough.
Can you produce short social videos from the same shoot?+
Yes. We can plan short vertical edits alongside the main film, so one filming day gives you content for your website, LinkedIn and social channels. Tell us which platforms you use at the briefing stage.
Can photography be booked alongside the video?+
Yes. We can send a photographer and a videographer to the same shoot or event, so you get stills and films from one booking. Photography uses the same hourly rates as filming.
