A FILM WITH A PURPOSE

Put the work and the people first.

A charity film can explain a service, share a lived experience or help supporters understand a need. We develop the story around what contributors are comfortable sharing and what the audience needs to know, avoiding a formula that turns people into illustrations of a campaign.

For a deeper story, consider documentary production. For an event-led appeal, event filming can capture speakers, activity and the community around the cause.

THE WORK IN CONTEXT

South Essex Wildlife Hospital

South Essex Wildlife Hospital project

The South Essex Wildlife Hospital film explains its work and Root-Power’s support. It is a verified community partnership film, without an invented fundraising result.

BUILT AROUND YOUR BRIEF

From the first idea to the finished film.

A clear purpose

Decide whether the film should explain, recruit volunteers, support an appeal or report on work already completed. One clear objective helps the audience understand the next step.

Contributor care

We agree access, consent and a suitable filming environment with your team. Sensitive stories need time and boundaries; participants should understand where the film will be used.

Evidence with context

Your team supplies approved figures, programme details and wording. Interviews and supporting footage make those facts understandable without promising donations or outcomes that a film cannot guarantee.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions,
answered.

Practical details about charity & fundraising films.

Can you work with sensitive stories?

We can plan a careful approach with your team and contributors. Please explain safeguarding, access and consent requirements early so the schedule and crew are appropriate.

Can we use the film for a fundraising campaign?

Yes, with the intended audience, platforms and call to action agreed in the brief. Your organisation approves the appeal wording and any factual claims.

Can a limited budget be focused on one priority?

Yes. A concise story with a manageable location and contributor plan can be a useful starting point. We explain the trade-offs between filming time, crew and edited versions.

Where do you provide this service?

We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Share the location and access requirements when you enquire. Our Suffolk production, Essex video production and London filming pages explain our coverage.

How is the project priced?

The quote reflects preparation, crew, filming time, editing and the agreed deliverables. Travel and any specialist requirements are considered separately. See our current production rates and videographer cost guide, then send a brief for a scoped quote.

When will the finished work be delivered?

We agree a delivery schedule and review stages before production. Tell us about a fixed launch or event deadline at the start so we can allow for editing, feedback and the required versions.
