SPORTS COVERAGE WITH A PURPOSE
Plan for the action. Edit for the audience.
We film matches, tournaments, gyms, fitness brands and athlete stories.
The schedule, venue, people and publishing goal decide how we position cameras, record sound and shape the finished films. That planning leaves room to respond when the unscripted moment arrives.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT COVERAGE
Sports video formats
The right format depends on whether people need to follow the contest, feel the atmosphere, meet the people behind it or receive a useful bank of content.
01
Match & tournament coverage
Follow the contest, atmosphere and decisive moments. Choose continuous coverage, highlights or both around the way your audience will watch.
02
Club & athlete profiles
Put people at the centre. Combine action, interviews and training detail to introduce a team, athlete, coach or community.
03
Gym & fitness promotion
Show the space, movement and experience of a session. Ideal for facilities, classes, personal trainers and member campaigns.
04
Social & content delivery
Plan one efficient shoot around highlights, interviews, demonstrations and short edits, with vertical and landscape framing considered before the action begins.
Video and sports photography can be planned together with the right crew. For the people, partners and experience around the competition, see our event videography.
HOW WE FILM THE ACTION
Built to follow the play
Long lenses, stable support and planned positions help us track fast action clearly without getting in the way.
The exact setup depends on the sport, access and deliverables. Multi-camera coverage can be scoped when continuous action, reactions or simultaneous moments matter.
POSITION
Agree safe, useful sightlines with the venue.
REACH
Keep distant action readable and purposeful.
DELIVERY
Frame for the formats the audience will actually watch.
FROM FIXTURE LIST TO FINAL FILES
How a sports project works
01
Plan the coverage
We confirm the sport, schedule, venue access, audience and deliverables, then map useful positions, sound, interviews and platform formats.
02
Film the action
On the day we balance anticipation with flexibility: wide context, readable play, reactions and details that make the event or organisation feel specific.
03
Shape the delivery
Editing turns the footage into the agreed films, with colour, sound, licensed music, captions and graphics where included.
CLEAR STARTING RATES
Sports videography pricing
A short training session, a full tournament and multi-camera match coverage are different jobs. We agree the operators, coverage time, travel, sound, interviews and finished edits before booking.
Share the schedule, venue and intended platforms. We will turn that into a practical plan and quote. No VAT is currently added.
Our standard on-location rate is £249 for the first hour per operator, then £99 for each consecutive additional hour. Editing is £49 per hour. Match length, access, the number of cameras and the finished edits all affect the project total, so we agree a clear quote before filming. Travel and any specialist production requirements are itemised separately.
Can you film a full match or tournament?+
Yes. We can plan continuous match coverage, a cinematic highlight film, short social edits or a combination of these. Tell us the sport, schedule, venue rules and how the footage will be used. Multi-camera coverage, commentary, live sound and same-day delivery need to be agreed in advance.
Can you create vertical videos for social media?+
Yes. We can plan vertical, square and landscape versions for clubs, athletes, events and fitness brands. Framing for vertical video works best when it is considered during filming rather than cropped as an afterthought, so include the intended platforms in the brief.
Do you film gyms, fitness classes and personal trainers?+
Yes. Our work includes gym and fitness promotional films, activity videos and presenter-led social content. We plan around the available space, class timetable, music, contributor permissions and the balance between clear instruction and energetic imagery.
Can you cover photography as well as video?+
Yes, when the brief supports it. Video and photography are scoped separately and may need more than one operator when key moments happen at the same time. We will recommend a practical crew rather than promise that one person can capture everything simultaneously.
How do you prepare for unpredictable sporting action?+
We learn the schedule, likely positions, key people and venue restrictions before the shoot. On the day we combine wider context, readable action and close details, while staying responsive to the moments that cannot be repeated. For structured content days, we build an efficient route and repeatable coverage plan.
Can you film interviews with athletes, coaches or organisers?+
Yes. Interviews can give a highlight film or campaign a clear human story. We can film short reactions on location or plan a quieter setup with controlled sound and lighting. Questions, contributors and any required captions are agreed as part of the brief.
Do you travel outside Essex and Suffolk?+
Yes. We are based near Sudbury and regularly work across Suffolk, Essex, London and throughout the UK. We have filmed sports and fitness projects in Colchester, Cheltenham, Rugby and Coleraine. Travel is confirmed in the quote before booking.
How quickly can you deliver sports videos?+
The schedule depends on the number and complexity of the edits. A single highlights film and a library of platform-specific clips are different post-production jobs. Tell us about fixtures, launches or publishing deadlines at the start so we can plan filming, review and delivery realistically.
Can you include drone coverage?+
Yes, when aerial filming adds something useful to the story. Drone coverage depends on venue permission, suitable airspace, weather, safe take-off and landing areas, and the risks around players, spectators and other people. We assess those conditions in advance, so aerial filming can be planned but is never guaranteed regardless of safety or legal restrictions.

Tell us about the fixture, event or campaign
We work across Suffolk, Essex, London and throughout the UK. A fixture list or rough idea is enough to begin.
