Yes. You can hire The Camera Guys purely as a camera crew if you already have a producer, agency or internal marketing team managing the project. We can provide filming, audio, lighting and additional camera operators as required.

Yes. Our professional Sony camera systems are capable of recording high-quality 4K footage. The final delivery format depends on where the video will be used and the specific requirements of the project.

Raw footage can be supplied when this is agreed as part of the project. Because camera originals can involve very large amounts of data, we recommend discussing raw-footage delivery and storage requirements before the shoot.

There is no ideal length for every video. A social media advert might last 15–30 seconds, a promotional film might be 60–120 seconds and an interview, case study or training video could be considerably longer. The right length depends on the audience, platform and purpose.

Our standard video editing rate is £49 per hour. The total depends on the volume of footage, complexity of the project, graphics, audio work and number of finished versions required.

Editing time varies enormously. A simple social media film may take only a few hours, while a complex corporate film, conference package or multi-camera production can require several days of post-production.

Our standard projects include two reasonable review rounds within the originally agreed editing brief. Significant changes to the original scope or substantial re-edits may require additional editing time.

Our standard videography pricing starts from £249 for the first hour, with subsequent booked hours charged at £99 per hour. The final cost depends on filming time, crew, equipment, travel, post-production and any additional requirements.

Yes, where applicable.

For locations within approximately 25 driving miles of CO10 0JA, travel is charged at £0.45 per round-trip mile.

For locations beyond that range, mileage is waived and travel is instead calculated using the estimated round-trip driving time at £49 per hour.

Parking, tolls, congestion charges, ferries and accommodation may be additional where required.

A booking payment or deposit may be required to secure production dates, particularly for larger projects and work booked significantly in advance. The exact booking terms depend on the type of project and will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.

Yes. Not every project needs a full filming day. Our pricing is designed to accommodate shorter productions as well as full-day and multi-day shoots.

Additional camera operators can be added where the production requires simultaneous coverage, multiple locations or more extensive camera operation. Our standard additional operator structure follows the same basic filming rate unless the project requires a bespoke quotation.

Normal off-site preparation for straightforward filming is not separately billed. Larger projects requiring extensive planning, research, scripting, meetings or production management may include additional pre-production time, currently charged at our standard editing/pre-production rate where applicable.

On-location setup forms part of the production time where cameras, lighting and audio need to be prepared before filming begins. Normal off-site preparation and pack-down are not normally billed separately.

Where possible, we will continue if the schedule overruns and we remain available. Additional production time may be charged rather than stopping the shoot at an inconvenient point. Current pricing allows overruns to be charged in appropriate increments where required.

Yes. For projects with a clearly defined brief and deliverables, we can provide a project quotation so you know the expected production cost before work begins.

The most useful information is what you want to create, where filming will take place, roughly how long filming is expected to last, the desired finished videos and any deadline. You do not need to have every detail worked out before contacting us.
