BUILT AROUND YOUR BRIEF
A press photograph needs to explain why it matters.
A useful PR image gives an editor something clear to work with: the people involved, the subject of the announcement and enough context to understand the story. We plan the photographs around the release, then agree a practical schedule for the shoot and any priority selection.
01
Work from the announcement.
Share the release or a concise summary, named participants and the intended publications. We identify the main picture and supporting options before the day. Branding, products and locations should clarify the story without overwhelming the people or making every frame feel like the same posed handover.
02
Prepare the names as well as the shot list.
Your communications contact should confirm names, roles, spelling and any information needed for captions. Tell us about embargoes, access requirements and people who cannot appear. We agree who can approve a priority selection and how it needs to reach your team.
03
Discuss the deadline at booking.
A press deadline can change the way the coverage and editing are organised. Agree the required selection and delivery time in advance; immediate transmission is not assumed. For a larger programme of activity around the announcement, event photography can cover the wider occasion.
SCOPE, EDITING & DELIVERY
A clear brief. A considered quote.
Our published photography rate starts at £249 for the first hour per photographer, then £99 for each additional hour. The final quote depends on the coverage, location, crew, planning and finishing you need.
We agree the image selection, editing, file formats, intended use and delivery date before booking. Tell us about detailed retouching or an early selection so the time is included in the plan. Check our current photography pricing and request a quote for your specific shoot.
We are based near Sudbury in Suffolk and work across Essex, London and the UK. Travel and location arrangements are agreed for each booking.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
PR & Press Photography: your questions.
Can you guarantee publication?
No. We create photographs for your communications brief; editorial selection remains with the publisher.
Can images be supplied quickly for a release?
Tell us the exact deadline before booking. We will agree the feasible coverage, selection and editing schedule.
Do you write the press release?
This service is photography. Your PR or communications team supplies the announcement and verifies the names and facts used in captions.
Can you cover a launch with several partners?
Yes. Identify each partner and the photographs they need so the shot list and approval process are clear.
