A performance moves between wide scenes and small expressions. We plan photography with the production team so we understand the important moments and where we can work. The resulting images can support your website, publicity and social channels without asking the performers to stop the show.
A REAL CAMERA GUYS PROJECT
For The Wizard of Oz, a dedicated photographer worked alongside a videographer across two performances. Photography was made without flash from the auditorium, creating promotional images for the company’s website and social channels.

Strong colour, changing light and sudden movement are part of performance photography. We work within the agreed positions and flash restrictions, considering the audience as well as the frame. Organised cast portraits or promotional setups need their own time outside the live sequence.

SCOPE, EDITING & DELIVERY
Our published photography rate starts at £249 for the first hour per photographer, then £99 for each additional hour. The final quote depends on the coverage, location, crew, planning and finishing you need.
We agree the image selection, editing, file formats, intended use and delivery date before booking. Tell us about detailed retouching or an early selection so the time is included in the plan. Check our current photography pricing and request a quote for your specific shoot.
We are based near Sudbury in Suffolk and work across Essex, London and the UK. Travel and location arrangements are agreed for each booking.
PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Yes. We agree the performance restrictions and work with the available stage lighting, as we did for Polkadot Pantomimes.
It depends on the brief. A rehearsal may offer more freedom of movement; a public show includes the live audience context. We discuss the best opportunity with the production team.
Yes, as a separately planned part of the brief. Dedicated photography and video roles help protect both forms of coverage.
