How much does a music video cost?
The concept, filming time, crew, locations and edit all affect the cost. A focused performance shoot can be very different from a film with cast, several sets and visual effects. We scope the production with you and set out what is included. See our current production rates for a starting point.
Can you help develop the concept?
Yes. Bring us the track, a rough idea or a few references. We can develop the creative direction together and find an approach that suits your sound, audience and budget.
Can you create a treatment?
Yes. A treatment can set out the visual style, story, locations and production approach before filming. We agree how much development the project needs as part of the brief.
Do I need to find the location?
You can suggest a location or ask us to help source suitable options. We consider the look, access, available power, permissions and any hire costs before the plan is confirmed.
Can you organise additional crew or cast?
Yes. Where the concept needs them, we can plan additional camera operators, lighting support, performers and other production roles. The team and associated costs are agreed around the scope.
How long does a music video take to shoot?
A focused setup may need only a few hours; a film with several locations, performers or complex scenes may need a full day or more. We build a realistic schedule from the treatment and allow time for lighting, performance and travel.
Can you create social-media versions?
Yes. Vertical clips, teasers, release trailers and short performance edits can be included in the brief. Tell us the platforms before filming so framing and coverage work for those versions. Each edit is agreed as part of the deliverables.
Do you work with unsigned artists?
Yes. We work with artists at different stages of their careers. Share your track, ideas and available budget, and we can discuss a production that gives the release a clear visual identity.
Do you travel for music-video shoots?
Yes. We are based near Sudbury in Suffolk and work across Essex, London, Cambridge and the wider UK. Travel and location logistics are included in the production plan.
Can you film live-performance videos?
Yes. We can film solo artists, bands, studio sessions and live performances. If the film needs live sound recording or a multicamera setup, we agree that approach before the shoot.
Do you provide photography at the same shoot?
Yes. Artist portraits, promotional stills and behind-the-scenes photography can be planned alongside filming. We allow suitable time and crew so both the music video and the photography get the attention they need.
