A customer story, a working process, an event or a campaign that needs to feel real.
We’re a Lowestoft video production company for organisations that want a useful film rather than content for its own sake. Our team travels up the A12 from our Suffolk and Essex bases, and we plan the day around the address, access, weather, contributors and the purpose of the finished video.
We already film on the north Suffolk coast and in Norfolk: a full day at Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, a music video in a Norwich cocktail bar and festival coverage that included Foodies Festival Norwich. Each project below is labelled with where it was made.
A family attraction in Reydon, a music video in Norwich and festival days around the country, including Norwich. Each one is labelled with where it was filmed.
REYDON, SUFFOLK / SOUTHWOLD MAIZE MAZE
A whole day out. Captured in one shoot.
For Kendalls PR & Marketing, one videographer spent six hours at Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, filming the maze, adventure play, zip line, pedal go-karts, water play, the café and the walks, with drone shots of the maze design. We delivered a main highlight film, a separate Old Hall Café & Walks film and dozens of short activity edits for social media.
It is a good model for a Lowestoft attraction, holiday park or seafront business.
Jake Aldridge’s music video was shot inside Cecilia’s Cocktail Bar in Norwich during a daytime window, with our own LED lighting, smoke and fog creating the after-dark mood. It shows how we light and shape a venue, useful for a Lowestoft bar, theatre or artist.
At Foodies Festival events for Jellyshotz, including Norwich, a photographer and a videographer captured the crowd, the unit and the product in short, energetic edits. The film here was made at Syon Park. It suits a Lowestoft brand at First Light, a seafront event or a launch.
If you need a Lowestoft videographer, our team travels from our Suffolk and Essex bases. We cover Lowestoft, Oulton Broad, Carlton Colville, Kessingland, Beccles, Bungay, Southwold and Reydon, with each schedule built around the people and activity at the actual location.
Port, energy and industrial sites need inductions and no-filming areas agreed; attractions, venues and events need crowds, weather and sound planned. We sort these before the filming day.
SUFFOLK & ESSEX BASED · FILMING ACROSS NORTH SUFFOLK
Lowestoft town centre, the seafront & Kirkley
Shops, cafés, the Marina Theatre and the seafront from Claremont Pier to South Beach, where the First Light Festival is held each midsummer. We plan event and interview filming around opening hours, crowds and parking.
Port businesses, engineering firms and the offshore wind sector around Hamilton Dock, OrbisEnergy and both sides of Lake Lothing, now linked by the Gull Wing bridge. We follow site inductions and agree confidential areas so the film shows the work without showing what it shouldn't.
Boatyards, holiday parks, visitor attractions and family businesses at the edge of the Broads and down the coast. A small crew suits a working site or a busy day, and we can film several locations in one visit.
Market-town firms, schools, charities and seaside businesses in the Waveney valley and along the coast. We have already filmed at Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, so we know the area's mix of attractions, cafés and walks.
Also covering Pakefield, Corton, Gisleham, Wrentham, Wangford, Halesworth, Gorleston and surrounding villages. Share the address and preferred date so we can confirm travel and availability. Further up the coast? See our Norwich video production page. Further south, see video production in Felixstowe and Woodbridge, or our Suffolk video production page for the rest of the county.
FROM FIRST IDEA TO FINAL FILE
A clear route. From the start.
01
Start with the purpose
Tell us who the film is for and what it needs to achieve. We turn the idea, event or business need into a focused brief.
02
Plan the location
We agree access, contributors, parking, filming time and the final versions. Port, offshore and industrial sites get their inductions, safety gear and no-filming areas agreed before the day, and outdoor shoots get a weather plan.
03
Capture the right material
We guide interviews and film the activity, details and wider setting that support them, from a working quayside to a busy attraction in the school holidays.
04
Shape and deliver
Editing brings the footage together with agreed sound, colour and graphics. Feedback stages lead to the final versions for your chosen channels.
CLEAR RATES. A PROPER SCOPE.
Know the scope. Know the cost.
Build the production around what you actually need.
A single interview and a production across several locations call for different plans. A good Lowestoft video production company should explain the filming, crew, editing, travel and specialist requirements before you book.
These are our current production rates. We explain how they apply to your brief, including the final versions and review stages included.
Yes. We travel from our bases in Sudbury, Suffolk and Colchester, Essex, and cover Lowestoft, Oulton Broad, Carlton Colville, Kessingland, Beccles, Bungay, Southwold, Reydon and the surrounding villages. Share the exact address and preferred date so we can confirm travel and availability.
Have you filmed near Lowestoft before?+
Yes. We filmed Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, about ten miles down the coast, over a six-hour shoot covering the maze, activities, café and walks, with drone footage of the maze design. Our Norwich and Norfolk work is also nearby. We have not yet published a project filmed in Lowestoft itself, and each project on this page is labelled with where it was filmed.
How much does video production in Lowestoft cost?+
Our current filming rates start at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator. Editing is £49 per hour. We quote the complete project around crew time, filming, editing, travel and any specialist requirements, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.
How is travel to Lowestoft charged?+
Travel is calculated from our Sudbury base (CO10 0JA) using driving routes. Lowestoft is more than 25 driving miles away, so mileage is waived and the estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Parking and any other location costs are agreed separately.
SHOW MORE QUESTIONSSHOW FEWER QUESTIONS
Can you film at the port or an offshore wind site?+
We can film on port and industrial sites, following your induction and safety rules and wearing the protective equipment you require. We agree any confidential or restricted areas before the day, and you approve the edit before anything is published. Offshore filming would need to be scoped separately with the site operator.
Can you make films for a visitor attraction or holiday park?+
Yes. For Southwold Maize Maze we filmed the attractions, café and walks in one day and delivered a main highlight film, a separate café and walks film and dozens of short activity edits for social media. We can plan the same kind of shoot for a Lowestoft attraction, holiday park or event.
Can drone filming be included?+
Often, subject to the exact location and the airspace. We check restrictions and any permissions needed before confirming aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production starts at £199 for the first allocated hour, then £49 per hour.
Can you film and live stream a conference or AGM?+
Yes. We can record a conference, AGM or launch with several cameras and stream it to an online audience at the same time. Livestreaming starts at £349 for the first on-location hour, then £99 per hour, and we confirm the venue's internet connection and audio feed before the day.
Can one videographer handle a small shoot?+
Often, yes. One videographer can run up to three cameras for interviews and smaller events. For a larger conference or a launch with several things happening at once, we recommend a second operator, which starts at £249 for the first hour and £99 per hour after.
Can photography be booked alongside the video?+
Yes. We can send a photographer and a videographer to the same event or shoot, so you get stills and films from one booking. Photography uses the same hourly rates as filming.
