YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR PLACE. YOUR PURPOSE.

Stories worth seeing.
Made with care.

A customer story, a working process, an event or a campaign that needs to feel real.

We’re a video production company for Felixstowe, Woodbridge and the Suffolk coast, working for organisations that need a useful film rather than content for its own sake. We travel across from our Suffolk and Essex bases and plan each day around the address, access, tides and weather, contributors and what the finished video has to do.

Our nearest work is already on this side of the county: a full day at Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon and a summer team party in Ipswich. Each project below is labelled with where it was made.

REAL CLIENT WORK

Different briefs.
One considered process.

A family attraction in Reydon, a team celebration in Ipswich and a process film for a Suffolk business. Each one is labelled with where it was filmed.

Drone view of the Southwold Maize Maze design in Reydon, Suffolk

REYDON, SUFFOLK / SOUTHWOLD MAIZE MAZE

A day on the coast.
Captured in one shoot.

For Kendalls PR & Marketing we filmed Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon over six hours: the maze, adventure play, zip line, go-karts, café and walks, with drone shots of the maze design. It became a main film, a café and walks film and a large library of short edits for social media.

The same plan works for an Aldeburgh venue, a Southwold attraction or a holiday business on the coast.

IPSWICH / PLATINUM CLEANING

Stills and film from one afternoon.

Two hours at Platinum Cleaning’s summer party gave the team a short film and a set of photographs from the same booking. It is a good fit for a Woodbridge or Martlesham firm that wants to show its people without a big production.

HALSTEAD (NOW SUDBURY) / SECURE IT

Show how the work gets done.

A full day followed equipment from collection to secure processing, with aerial shots linking each step. Port, logistics and engineering businesses around Felixstowe can use the same approach to explain what they do.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SHOW?

A useful film.
For the work ahead.

Choose the purpose first. We can shape the coverage, crew and final formats around your audience, locations and timetable.

YOUR LOCATION. OUR PRODUCTION TEAM.

Felixstowe & Woodbridge locations.
A practical plan.

If you need a Felixstowe or Woodbridge videographer, our team travels from our Suffolk and Essex bases. We cover Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Martlesham, Kesgrave, Aldeburgh, Snape, Leiston, Saxmundham, Framlingham and Southwold, with each schedule built around the people and activity at the actual location.

Port, logistics and industrial sites need inductions and no-filming areas agreed; coastal venues, festivals and events need tides, weather, crowds and sound planned. We sort these before the filming day.

SUFFOLK & ESSEX BASED · FILMING ALONG THE SUFFOLK COAST

Felixstowe, the port & the seafront

Logistics, shipping and port-related businesses around the UK's busiest container port, plus the seafront, cafés and venues along the promenade. We follow site inductions and agree confidential areas, so the film shows the work without showing what it shouldn't.

Woodbridge, Martlesham & the Deben

Professional firms, schools, independent shops and riverside businesses around the Tide Mill and the Deben, plus the business and technology parks at Martlesham. Ipswich, where we have filmed for Platinum Cleaning, is about eight miles away.

Aldeburgh, Snape & Leiston

Festivals, venues, galleries and hospitality on the Heritage Coast, from Snape Maltings to Aldeburgh's high street. A small crew suits a concert, exhibition or busy weekend, and we plan around crowds, light and sound.

Southwold, Framlingham & the coast villages

Attractions, holiday lets, breweries, pubs and family businesses up the coast and inland. We have already filmed a full day at Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, so we know how the area's attractions, cafés and walks fit together on film.

FROM FIRST IDEA TO FINAL FILE

A clear route.
From the start.

01

Start with the purpose

Tell us who the film is for and what it needs to achieve. We turn the idea, event or business need into a focused brief.

02

Plan the location

We agree access, contributors, parking, filming time and the final versions. Port and industrial sites get inductions, safety gear and no-filming areas agreed first, and coastal shoots get a tide and weather plan.

03

Capture the right material

We guide interviews and film the activity, details and wider setting around them, from a busy quayside office to a riverside venue on event day.

04

Shape and deliver

Editing brings the footage together with agreed sound, colour and graphics. Feedback stages lead to the final versions for your chosen channels.

CLEAR RATES. A PROPER SCOPE.

Know the scope.

Build the production around what you actually need.

A single interview and a production across several locations call for different plans. A good Felixstowe & Woodbridge video production company should explain the filming, crew, editing, travel and specialist requirements before you book.

These are our current production rates. We explain how they apply to your brief, including the final versions and review stages included.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Planning your
Felixstowe & Woodbridge shoot.

Practical answers about locations, crew, travel and what a clear production scope should include.

Tell us what you have in mind ↗
Do you provide video production in Felixstowe and Woodbridge?

Yes. We travel from our bases in Sudbury, Suffolk and Colchester, Essex, and cover Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Martlesham, Kesgrave, Aldeburgh, Snape, Leiston, Saxmundham, Framlingham, Southwold and the villages in between. Share the exact address and preferred date so we can confirm travel and availability.

Have you filmed on the Suffolk coast before?

Yes. We spent a full day filming Southwold Maize Maze in Reydon, covering the maze, activities, café and walks, with drone footage of the maze design. Closer to Woodbridge and Felixstowe, we filmed Platinum Cleaning's summer team party in Ipswich. We have not yet published a project filmed in Felixstowe, Woodbridge or Aldeburgh, and each project on this page is labelled with where it was filmed.

How much does video production on the Suffolk coast cost?

Our current filming rates start at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator. Editing is £49 per hour. We quote the complete project around crew time, filming, editing, travel and any specialist requirements, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.

How is travel to Felixstowe or Woodbridge charged?

Travel is calculated from our Sudbury base (CO10 0JA) using driving routes. Felixstowe, Woodbridge and the coast are more than 25 driving miles away, so mileage is waived and the estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Parking and other location costs are agreed separately.

SHOW MORE QUESTIONSSHOW FEWER QUESTIONS
Can you film at the port or on a logistics site?

We can film on port, warehouse and industrial sites, following your induction and safety rules and wearing the protective equipment you require. We agree any confidential or restricted areas before the day, and you approve the edit before anything is published.

Can you film a festival, concert or event?

Yes. We can cover an event with a videographer, a photographer or both, capturing the atmosphere, the performers or speakers and the moments between. Tell us the running order, any filming restrictions from the venue or artists, and the versions you need afterwards.

Can drone filming be included?

Often, subject to the exact location and the airspace. Parts of the coast sit near the port, airfields and protected sites, so we check restrictions and any permissions needed before confirming aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production starts at £199 for the first allocated hour, then £49 per hour.

Can you film and live stream a conference or AGM?

Yes. We can record a conference, AGM or launch with several cameras and stream it to an online audience at the same time. Livestreaming starts at £349 for the first on-location hour, then £99 per hour, and we confirm the venue's internet connection and audio feed before the day.

Can one videographer handle a small shoot?

Often, yes. One videographer can run up to three cameras for interviews and smaller events. For a larger conference or an event with several things happening at once, we recommend a second operator, which starts at £249 for the first hour and £99 per hour after.

Can photography be booked alongside the video?

Yes. We can send a photographer and a videographer to the same event or shoot, as we did for Platinum Cleaning in Ipswich, so you get stills and films from one booking. Photography uses the same hourly rates as filming.
