BOTH DIRECTIONS AT ONCE
The room feeds the stream. The stream feeds the room.
Hybrid is harder than streaming because the signal travels both ways: remote speakers appear on the venue screens, remote questions reach the stage, and the room sound never feeds back. Click through the stages.
In the room. The live audience sees the stage as normal; our cameras and feeds capture it for everyone else.
Remote speakers. Remote presenters join through a managed link and appear on the screens in the room at full quality, with their sound mixed into the PA.
Vision mix. A vision mixer cuts between cameras and slides in real time, adds names and titles, and keeps the programme moving.
Encode. The programme is encoded for the internet with a backup connection ready. A full-quality recording runs alongside the stream.
Your audience. The stream reaches your viewers where they already are, with a private page where the event is not public.

WHY IT MATTERS
The online audience should never feel like an afterthought.
Hybrid events fail quietly: the stream is an hour of a wide shot, the remote speaker is a small square nobody can hear, the online questions never reach the room. The fix is production, not more kit.
We treat the stream as its own programme, with a director watching it, and we manage the return feeds so remote speakers and questions arrive in the room cleanly.
THE SHORT ANSWER
What is a hybrid event?
A hybrid event is one programme shared by two audiences: people in the room and a virtual audience watching online. The online viewers see the speakers, slides and questions as they happen, and they can take part, with their questions and remote presenters brought back into the physical location.
Hybrid event production is the work that makes that possible: cameras, sound, a vision mix, remote speaker links and a reliable stream, run by a crew watching both audiences at once.
It suits corporate conferences, AGMs, product launches, training days, awards and trade shows, where some people can’t travel but still need to be part of the day. We have delivered hybrid and streamed events for corporate clients; most were internal, so we don’t show them publicly, but we’re happy to talk through how they were run.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Your questions,
answered.
What internet connection do you need?
A wired connection is best. Where there is none we bring bonded 4G/5G and test it on site before the event; we will tell you in advance if a venue cannot support a reliable stream.
Which platforms can you stream to?
YouTube Live, Vimeo, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facebook and private password-protected pages, including several at once.
Can we have a recording afterwards?
Yes. Every stream is recorded locally in full quality and can be edited into a highlights film or chapters.
Can remote speakers present slides?
Yes. We take their slides through the platform or in advance, and switch them like any other source.
How do you avoid audio feedback?
Mix-minus: each remote participant hears everything except themselves. We set this up and test it before the event.
Where do you provide this service?
We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Post-production is handled at our studio, so you can send material from anywhere in the country.
What is the difference between a hybrid event and a live stream?
A live stream sends the event one way, from the room to viewers online. A hybrid event works in both directions: remote speakers appear on the venue screens with their sound in the PA, and questions from the virtual audience reach the stage. That needs extra planning and usually a second operator to manage the returns.
How far ahead should we book hybrid event production?
As early as you can, ideally a few weeks before the event. We need time to check the venue’s internet connection and audio, agree the running order and test remote speakers. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, so ask us with your date.
How much does hybrid event production cost?
Standalone live streaming starts at £349 for the first on-location hour, then £99 per hour; streaming added to a filming booking starts at £249 for the first hour. Hybrid events usually need a second operator for remote speakers and returns, and we quote the full scope in advance. No VAT is currently added to our prices.
