YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR PLACE. YOUR PURPOSE.

Stories worth seeing.
Made with care.

A customer story, a working process, an event or a campaign that needs to feel real.

We’re a video production company for Brighton, Hove and the rest of Sussex – from Worthing and Shoreham to Lewes, Eastbourne, Crawley and Horsham – making films for hospitality and drinks brands, event organisers, conference venues, creative firms and charities, including charity and fundraising films and brand films. We travel down from our Suffolk base and plan each shoot around the place, the people on camera and where the film will be seen.

We have filmed in Brighton: Foodies Festival Brighton for Jellyshotz, with a videographer and a photographer on the day. Our other projects below were filmed in Surrey and London, and each is labelled with where it was filmed.

REAL CLIENT WORK

Different briefs.
One considered process.

A food festival in Brighton, an energy site in Surrey, a head office in London. Festival, project-update and testimonial films, each one labelled with where it was filmed.

Jellyshotz Brighton highlights film from Foodies Festival Brighton

BRIGHTON / JELLYSHOTZ AT FOODIES FESTIVAL

A festival day,
cut down to two and a half minutes.

With Sister Sledge on the line-up, we filmed the Jellyshotz unit, the products in people’s hands and the crowd around the stage, while a photographer covered the same day.

The Brighton highlights film runs 2 minutes 34 seconds, and the same day gave Jellyshotz photographs and short clips for social media.

CATERHAM, SURREY / ROOT-POWER TILLINGDOWN

Two voices, one site, about two hours.

A project engineer and the head of development delivered scripted updates from a teleprompter, and we added ground and aerial footage of the battery-storage site for internal and public updates.

LONDON / SONY × AMWORLD

A logistics partnership, explained by the client.

At Sony Europe’s London headquarters we lit and recorded a two-camera interview with Sony, then edited it with footage of AMWORLD’s work into a testimonial for web and social media.

YOUR LOCATION. OUR PRODUCTION TEAM.

Brighton locations.
A practical plan.

If you need a Brighton videographer, we travel down from our base near Sudbury. We cover the city centre and seafront venues, the university campuses at Falmer and Moulsecoomb, Hove, Shoreham, Worthing, Lewes, Eastbourne, and Crawley with the Manor Royal business district by Gatwick.

Brighton is a long day’s travel from Suffolk, so Sussex shoots work best as full or half-day bookings – festivals, conferences, product days or combined photo and video. Travel beyond 25 miles is charged as driving time, and we agree access, parking and timings with you before the day.

FROM FIRST IDEA TO FINAL FILE

A clear route.
From the start.

01

Agree the purpose

Start with who will watch the film and what you want them to do afterwards; we write that into a brief covering length, formats and any cut-down versions.

02

Plan the location

We confirm the venue or site, the contributors, access times, wristbands or inductions, and any part of the day that must stay off camera.

03

Film on the day

A compact crew records interviews and the action around them, keeping out of the way of guests, customers and staff.

04

Edit and deliver

We edit with agreed music, colour and captions, make the changes from two rounds of feedback and deliver files for each channel.

CLEAR RATES. A PROPER SCOPE.

Know the scope.
Know the cost.

Build the production around what you actually need.

A single interview and a production across several locations call for different plans. A good Brighton video production company should explain the filming, crew, editing, travel and specialist requirements before you book.

These are our current production rates. We explain how they apply to your brief, including the final versions and review stages included.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Planning your
Brighton shoot.

Practical answers about locations, crew, travel and what a clear production scope should include.

Tell us what you have in mind ↗
Do you offer video production in Brighton and Sussex?

Yes. Brighton, Hove and both East and West Sussex are in our regular coverage – Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lewes, Eastbourne, Crawley, Horsham, Haywards Heath and Chichester included. We travel down from Great Cornard, Sudbury; tell us the location and date and we will check the diary.

Have you filmed in Brighton before?

Yes. For Jellyshotz we covered Foodies Festival Brighton with a videographer and a photographer, and delivered a highlights film of 2 minutes 34 seconds. It is our only published Brighton project so far; the other work on this page was filmed in Caterham (Surrey), London and Hampshire, and each is labelled.

How much does video production in Brighton cost?

Filming starts at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator, and editing is £49 per hour. Your quote covers crew time, editing, travel and any specialist kit, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.

How is travel to Brighton charged?

We calculate travel from CO10 0JA using driving routes. Brighton and the rest of Sussex are more than 25 driving miles away, so there is no mileage charge; the estimated return driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Parking and other location costs are agreed separately.

SHOW MORE QUESTIONSSHOW FEWER QUESTIONS
Can you film at a festival or outdoor event?

Yes. On the Jellyshotz festival circuit we filmed the unit, the crowd and the live acts, then delivered highlight montages, vertical versions and short social stories. We also built a helmet-mounted 'Jelly Cam' to capture people's reactions close up.

Can you record a whole conference, not just highlights?

Yes. At City St George's, University of London, we filmed My Home Life England's anniversary conference on several cameras and edited a complete recording, a highlights film and short interviews with guests. A Brighton conference would be planned the same way, session by session.

Can you make a customer story film for our business?

Yes. At Sony Europe's London headquarters we filmed a two-camera interview for Sony × AMWORLD in a four-hour shoot, and in Winchester we filmed Chrome Telecoms' customer story at Winchester Golf Academy. Both pair an interview with footage of the place and the work.

Can you film a project update with a teleprompter?

Yes. At Root-Power's Tillingdown site in Caterham, Surrey, two members of the team delivered scripted updates from a teleprompter, supported by ground and aerial footage, in about two hours. If you have two shoots in the region, ask whether they can share one filming day.

Can you add drone footage?

Yes, where the location, airspace and weather allow. Parts of Sussex lie close to Gatwick and Shoreham airports, so we check permissions before confirming any aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production is £199 for the first allocated drone hour, then £49 per hour.

Can you provide photographs on the same day?

Yes. We can send a photographer alongside the videographer, as we did for Jellyshotz at Foodies Festival Brighton. See our Brighton photographer page for event, product and headshot photography.
