CATERHAM, SURREY / ROOT-POWER TILLINGDOWN
Two voices, one site, about two hours.
Root-Power’s project engineer and head of development delivered scripted updates from a teleprompter, and we added ground and aerial footage of the battery-storage site and the landscape around it.
Root-Power received a short and an extended version for internal and public updates – and the same videographer went on to a second Root-Power shoot later that day, saving a separate call-out.
At City St George’s, University of London, we filmed My Home Life England’s 20th anniversary on several cameras and edited a full recording, a highlights film and short interviews with guests.
At Sony Europe’s London headquarters we lit and recorded a two-camera interview with Sony, then edited it with footage of AMWORLD’s work into a testimonial for web and social media.

Surrey is a long day’s travel from Suffolk, so shoots work best as half or full-day bookings – training series, conferences, project updates or several teams filmed on one day. Travel beyond 25 miles is charged as driving time, and we agree access, site inductions, parking and timings with you before the day.

Have you filmed in Surrey before?+
Yes. For Root-Power we filmed two scripted project updates at the Tillingdown battery-storage site in Caterham, with ground and aerial footage, in about two hours. The other work on this page was filmed in London and Brighton, and each project is labelled with where it was filmed.
How much does video production in Surrey cost?+
Filming starts at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator, and editing is £49 per hour. Your quote covers crew time, editing, travel and any specialist kit, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.
How is travel to Surrey charged?+
We calculate travel from CO10 0JA using driving routes. Surrey is more than 25 driving miles away, so there is no mileage charge; the estimated return driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Parking and other location costs are agreed separately.

Can you film a project update or talking-head video with a teleprompter?+
Yes. At Tillingdown two members of Root-Power's team – a project engineer and the head of development – delivered scripted updates from a teleprompter. Standard teleprompter equipment and setup is a £99 add-on.
Can you make training videos for our staff?+
Yes. We plan the script and structure with you, film presenters with a teleprompter where it helps, and add on-screen text, screen recordings or demonstrations so the steps are easy to follow. See our training videos page.
Can you record a whole conference, not just highlights?+
Yes. At City St George's, University of London, we filmed My Home Life England's anniversary conference on several cameras and edited a complete recording, a highlights film and short interviews with guests. A Surrey conference would be planned the same way, session by session.
Can you make a customer story film for our business?+
Yes. At Sony Europe's London headquarters we filmed a two-camera interview for Sony × AMWORLD in a four-hour shoot. A customer story pairs an interview with footage of the place and the work.
Can you add drone footage?+
Yes, where the location, airspace and weather allow. Parts of Surrey lie close to Gatwick, Heathrow and Farnborough airports, so we check permissions before confirming any aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production is £199 for the first allocated drone hour, then £49 per hour.
Can two Surrey shoots share one filming day?+
Often, yes. After Tillingdown the same videographer travelled on to a second Root-Power project later that day, so the client avoided a separate call-out. If you have more than one site or team to film, tell us and we will plan the day around both.
