PHOTOGRAPHY / SURREY

Surrey PhotographerFor the conference, the company day and the team page.

Surrey is full of head offices, research parks and conference hotels, from Guildford and Woking to Weybridge, Leatherhead, Epsom and Reigate. We photograph what those businesses need to show: a conference or awards evening as it happens, a staff event that people will remember, and a team whose headshots look like one company.

PHOTOGRAPHS WITH A PURPOSE

Pictures that keep working after the day.

A technology firm on a Guildford business park needs its customer conference covered for next year's sponsor pack. A Woking head office wants the whole team photographed against one background before the new website goes live. A Reigate company holding a summer party wants pictures for the staff newsletter and the careers page. Each brief has its own limit – a running order, a crowd or a team that can spare five minutes each.

We have not yet published photography from a Surrey commission. Our Surrey work so far is video – a project update filmed for Root-Power at its Tillingdown site in Caterham – so every picture on this page is labelled with the client and where it was taken.

TEAM HEADSHOTS AND STAFF PORTRAITS

Headshots that look like one company.

These Hive Kids staff portraits were photographed in Stowmarket with the same setting and light for every person. For a Surrey office we would set up one consistent background in a meeting room or by a window, so every headshot matches on your website, LinkedIn and proposals.

Each portrait takes a few minutes, so people can go straight back to work, and new starters can be photographed later in the same style.

CONFERENCE / LONDON

A programme day, from the lectern to the tables.

My Home Life England celebrated twenty years with a conference and celebration at City St George's, University of London. We photographed the people at the lectern, the delegates filling the hall and the conversation from the tables, while our team also recorded the day on video.

City St George's is in Tooting, south London. It was not a Surrey commission, but it shows how we cover a conference with a fixed running order – the approach we would take at a Surrey hotel, campus or company venue.

SURREY / ON LOCATION

Each quote is built from the hours we photograph, the number of people or sessions, and any detailed retouching. Travel is worked out from our base in Great Cornard, Sudbury: Surrey is far beyond 25 driving miles, so there is no mileage charge, and the estimated return driving time is billed at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.

Our Surrey coverage runs from Guildford, Godalming and Farnham to Woking, Camberley, Weybridge and Staines-upon-Thames, and across to Epsom, Leatherhead, Dorking, Reigate, Redhill and Caterham. Tell us the address and what you need photographing.

Within 25 driving miles of the quoted base, travel is £0.55 per round-trip mile. Beyond that, mileage is waived and estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour. Parking, tolls and other necessary travel costs are agreed separately.

PLANNING YOUR SHOOT

The practical details.

Have you photographed in Surrey before?

Not yet as a published photography commission. Our Surrey work so far is video: we filmed a project update for Root-Power at its Tillingdown site in Caterham. The photographs on this page come from London, Stowmarket and Ipswich, and each one is labelled.

Do you photograph conferences in Surrey?

Yes. We work from your running order and agree which speakers, sponsors and sessions must be covered, then photograph the stage, the audience, the exhibition and the networking, whether the event is in a hotel, on a university campus or at your own offices.

Can you photograph our staff party or company away day?

Yes. At Platinum Cleaning's staff summer party in Ipswich we delivered 300 edited photographs and a short film from two hours of coverage. We agree the set-pieces first – speeches, awards, the team photograph – and capture the rest naturally.

Do you take headshots for whole teams?

Yes. We bring a portable backdrop and lights to your office, give each person a few minutes in front of the camera and show them the frames before they leave, so every headshot on your website and LinkedIn has the same look. New starters can be matched later.

Can you photograph products or brand images as well?

Yes. For Jellyshotz we produced more than 200 product photographs across 30 flavours, used on their online shop, Amazon listings and marketing. See our commercial and brand photography page for how we plan a product shoot.

Can one booking include video as well as photographs?

Yes. Simultaneous photo and video normally needs a photographer and a videographer, each at the standard operator rate. If you also need a film, see our Surrey video production page.

Which areas of Surrey do you cover?

Guildford, Woking, Godalming, Farnham, Camberley, Weybridge, Staines-upon-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Leatherhead, Dorking, Reigate, Redhill, Caterham and the towns in between. For Sussex, Kent or Hampshire, see our Brighton, Kent and Hampshire photographer pages.

How much does a photographer in Surrey cost?

Photography starts at £249 for the first hour per photographer and £99 for each additional hour, with standard event processing included and detailed retouching at £49 per hour where agreed. Surrey is over 25 driving miles from our base, so we charge estimated return driving time at £49 per hour instead of mileage. No VAT is currently added.

How soon will we receive the photographs?

We agree a delivery date before the shoot. A small selection for social media or internal news can be prioritised, and the full edited set follows, named and sized for web and print.
