If you need a Thurrock videographer, we travel from our base near Sudbury. We cover Grays, Chafford Hundred, Lakeside and West Thurrock, Purfleet-on-Thames, Aveley, South Ockendon, Tilbury, Orsett, East Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham.
Thurrock is a little over an hour from our base. Travel beyond 25 miles is charged as driving time, and we agree access, site inductions and PPE, parking and timings with you before the day – especially at ports, depots and energy sites.

We confirm the site, the contributors, access times, inductions and PPE, noise on working sites and any script for the teleprompter.

We edit with agreed music, colour, narration and captions, clean up dialogue recorded on loud sites, make the changes from two rounds of feedback and deliver files for each channel.

Filming starts at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour per operator, and editing is £49 per hour. Your quote covers crew time, editing, travel and any specialist kit, and no VAT is currently added to our prices.
We calculate travel from CO10 0JA using driving routes. Thurrock is more than 25 driving miles away, so there is no mileage charge; the estimated return driving time is charged at £49 per hour, rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Tolls such as the Dartford Crossing, parking and other location costs are agreed separately.

Yes. On the return visit to Coryton the running equipment was very loud, so we used close microphones, suitable protection and constant monitoring, then cleaned up the dialogue in the edit. Two members of Root-Power's team delivered their updates from a teleprompter.

Yes, where the location, airspace and weather allow. Parts of Thurrock sit under busy airspace and beside working ports, so we check permissions before confirming any aerial shots. Drone filming added to a production is £199 for the first allocated drone hour, then £49 per hour.
Often, yes. The South Essex Wildlife Hospital film was shot on the same day as Root-Power's Tillingdown site in Caterham, so the client avoided a separate call-out. If you have more than one site or team to film, tell us and we will plan the day around both.
