Harlow PhotographerShow the people behind the science.
Harlow's science park, data centre and tech firms are full of interesting work that is hard to photograph: clean rooms, screens you cannot show and people who would rather not be on camera. We plan business photography around those limits.

PHOTOGRAPHS WITH A PURPOSE
Interesting work. Careful photographs.
A Harlow lab wants photographs for its careers page. A tech company needs headshots for a funding round. A firm on Templefields is opening a new building. Each brief comes with rules: inductions, confidential screens, areas that cannot appear and staff who need to approve what is published.
We travel to Harlow, Epping, Sawbridgeworth and Bishop's Stortford from our Suffolk and Essex bases. The photographs on this page come from our wider portfolio and are labelled with the client and place; none of them is presented as a Harlow shoot.

PORTRAITS FOR CAREERS AND INVESTORS
People make a technical business feel approachable.
These Hive Kids staff portraits were photographed outdoors with a consistent setting and gentle light. For a Harlow firm we would choose a setting that suits the work: a lab bench, a meeting space or a plain background for investor documents.
We agree with your team who is happy to be photographed, what can be in the background and who approves the final selection.
Agree what can be shown before the camera comes out.

Labs and secure areas
Agree in advanceInductions, protective clothing, which rooms can be photographed and any equipment or screens that must not appear.
Capture on the dayPeople at work, with careful framing that shows the activity without revealing anything confidential.
Staff portraits
Agree in advanceThe background, crop and style that suit careers pages, LinkedIn and investor documents.
Capture on the dayA relaxed, natural expression from each person, with quick checks so they are happy with the result.
Openings and events
Agree in advanceThe guests, speeches and photographs your communications team needs.
Capture on the dayThe building and the people in it, which is what a launch photograph is really for.
OPENINGS / CONFERENCES / OPEN DAYS
A new building is only news with people in it.
For an opening or open day we photograph the space before guests arrive, then the speeches and the people. A wide photograph shows the scale; a closer one shows who was there.
The My Home Life photographs here were taken at an event in London. They are examples of event photography from our wider portfolio, not photographs taken in Harlow.

Planning a shoot at a Harlow site.
Before the day
Send the site rules, the induction requirements and a list of areas and people to photograph. We agree what must not appear with your facilities or security team.
On the day
We keep the crew small, follow the site rules and check early frames with your contact so the approach is agreed before we carry on.
After the day
Your team reviews the selection for anything confidential before we deliver the final files.

PLANNING YOUR SHOOT
The practical details.
Can you photograph inside a lab or secure site in Harlow?
Yes. We follow your inductions and site rules, wear any protective clothing required, and agree which areas, screens and equipment must not appear. Your team reviews the selection before final delivery.
Can you photograph staff who are camera-shy?
Yes. We keep sessions short and relaxed, and agree in advance who is happy to appear. Nobody needs to be in a photograph they are uncomfortable with.
Can the photographs be used for investor and careers material?
Yes. Tell us the documents and pages the photographs are for, so we can plan the right crops, backgrounds and resolution.
Are the photographs on this page from Harlow?
No. The portraits are from our Hive Kids commission and the event photographs are from My Home Life in London. They are shown as examples of the same kinds of work.
Can you photograph an opening or open day?
Yes. We photograph the space before guests arrive, then the speeches, guests and activities, and can deliver a quick selection for your press release.
Can you film at the same time?
Yes. A photographer and a videographer can cover the same visit, giving you stills and a short film from one booking.
