PHOTOGRAPHS WITH A PURPOSE

Which pictures no longer describe the business?

The website still shows the old entrance. A brochure includes furniture you replaced last year. A booking platform leads with a room that has been refurbished. We help Kent operators turn those small inconsistencies into a focused photography brief, replacing the pictures that are out of date without commissioning the same coverage all over again.

Bring the current images to the conversation. Mark what has changed, where the pictures are published and which replacements matter first. That gives the session a defined purpose and lets your operations team reserve the spaces we actually need.

PLACES / REPRESENTATIVE SUFFOLK WORK

Keep. Replace. Retire.

Use these three decisions to audit the library before booking. The displayed photographs are Edd Callegari property commissions in Suffolk. They illustrate our work with spaces; they are not Kent hotel or restaurant commissions.

Keep what is still accurate

Review each photograph against the current premises. If the approach, layout and presentation are unchanged, a useful existing picture may not need replacing. Share it so the new work can sit comfortably beside it.

Replace what customers will notice

Prioritise visible changes: a refurbished terrace, a new seating arrangement or a facility now offered in a different way. Record the date it will be ready, and avoid scheduling photography before contractors or the team have finished.

Retire what is no longer offered

If an amenity has closed or a room type is unavailable, a new photograph is only part of the answer. Give whoever manages your website and listings a removal list, so the outdated image does not keep setting the wrong expectation.

Prepare the offer, then prepare the photograph.

Available on the day
Confirm which rooms, tables, gardens and facilities can be photographed without disrupting guests. Reserve a clear window for each area rather than promising access to the entire site.
Accurate in the image
Check furnishings, signage, menus and seasonal dressing. Avoid staging an extra that looks included if customers would need to pay for it separately.
Ready to approve
Nominate someone who knows the operation and can spot missing items. They should be able to approve a setup while the photographer is still there.

THE NEXT SEASON / THE NEXT UPDATE

Make a refresh list instead of replacing everything.

An image library can become inaccurate a few details at a time. A refurbished space, a different entrance or new outdoor furniture may be enough to make a familiar photograph misleading. Mark the images that still describe the business correctly and identify the views that need replacing.

For a seasonal Kent campaign, we can quote the missing pictures around your opening and preparation schedule. Keep an internal record of what each set shows and when it was photographed. That makes the next update easier to brief and helps prevent old offers returning to the website.

Decide where each photograph will be used.

A booking platform, a printed leaflet and a website banner rarely give an image the same amount of space. Share the actual layouts or specifications before the shoot. We can allow room for a headline or plan a separate upright view where a crop would remove the important detail.

If you need people in the scenes, decide who will appear and how that will be arranged. We will not assume paying guests are available as models. Food styling, models and extensive room preparation should be identified before the quote, not quietly added to a premises session.

KENT / ON LOCATION

The quote sets out the spaces, preparation requirements and intended outputs. Photography time does not automatically include styling, room resets, models or extensive retouching. Tell us who will handle each task so the schedule reflects the work.

Our team visits Kent from its Suffolk base. Whether the brief is in Canterbury, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells or a rural property, we need the full address and the times the business can release each space. Exterior photographs depend on actual conditions; a return visit or separate season is an additional arrangement.

Within 25 driving miles of the quoted base, travel is £0.55 per round-trip mile. Beyond that, mileage is waived and estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour. Parking, tolls and other necessary travel costs are agreed separately.

PLANNING YOUR SHOOT

The practical details.

Can you work around guests and service times?

We can plan access windows with the operator. Tell us which areas must stay open and when they can be presented for photography. If the business cannot release a space, we should adjust the image list rather than interrupt guests unexpectedly.

Do we need to style every area before you arrive?

Prepare the agreed spaces to the standard customers should expect. We can discuss composition and small adjustments, but cleaning, maintenance, furniture moves and specialist styling need an assigned person and time in the schedule.

Can you photograph real guests using the facilities?

Only with an agreed plan for the people involved and the intended use of their images. Staff, invited participants or booked models may be more practical. We do not treat general access to a venue as permission to use every guest in its advertising.

Can an image update cover just a refurbished area?

Yes. Share the existing library and identify what has changed. We can plan the replacement views and discuss whether the new photographs need to sit alongside an established visual style.

Are these photographs of Kent hotels or restaurants?

No. The displayed examples are commissioned property photographs for Edd Callegari in Suffolk. They demonstrate our work with interiors, exterior spaces and details, and are labelled as representative work elsewhere.

Can photographs confirm a venue's accessibility?

They can show relevant features clearly, but they do not replace accurate measurements or information from the venue. Tell us which routes or facilities you need illustrated and supply the approved factual description separately.
