Suffolk PhotographerPeople. Places. A sense of belonging.
Photographs of your team, your setting and the things you make happen. Based in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, we plan commercial, property and event photography across Suffolk around the people and places that matter to your brief.
An afternoon with colleagues in Ipswich asks something different of a photographer from a quiet interior in a Suffolk village. At an event, we need to notice expressions before they disappear. In a property, we can take time over perspective, light and the relationship between rooms. Your brief decides the pace.
If a commission includes several settings, we work out which photographs depend on a particular person, an empty room or a change in daylight. That gives the shoot an achievable order, rather than a long wish list squeezed into the last hour.

IPSWICH / PEOPLE TOGETHER
A team gathering, seen from within.
Platinum Cleaning’s summer celebration brought colleagues together in Ipswich. Our photography covered the social side of the business: small groups, conversation and portraits that belonged to that particular afternoon. The photographs here are from the commissioned stills collection.
For your own event, tell us which people need to be pictured together and when they are likely to be available. We can make room for those combinations while keeping time for the unplanned moments around them.

CAVENDISH & IPSWICH / PROPERTY
Show how a place fits together.
These Edd Callegari photographs show a kitchen and garden in Cavendish and a separate home in Ipswich. Each needs its own sequence: a clear view of the space, the connection to the next room and details that help a viewer understand the property.
An address and a room list are useful starting points. Access arrangements, window light, occupied rooms and exterior priorities help us estimate the visit. A sequence that starts with the setting and moves through the rooms helps the collection feel coherent when it reaches a property listing.

BETTER PREPARATION / BETTER COVERAGE
Build the day around what cannot move.
A county-wide brief needs more than a route between postcodes. These are the decisions that make the photography practical.
People first
Start with the person who has twenty minutes between meetings, or the guests who leave before the evening. Put essential portraits and group combinations against real availability.
Then the setting
A busy workplace, a lived-in home and an outdoor gathering need different preparation. Nominate someone who can arrange access, clear sensitive material and let contributors know what is happening.
Leave room for light
An exterior may need another time of day from the interior beside it. Where weather affects the brief, agree a sheltered option or a return-visit allowance before the booking.
CLEAR COSTS
Scope first. Then a clear quote.
£249 first hour per photographer
£99 for each additional capture hour. Additional retouching is £49 per hour where required.
The capture rate is a starting point. We confirm the number of photographers, preparation, agreed image finishing and any additional retouching in your quote. Delivery dates, image quantities and usage are agreed for your commission.
Our Suffolk base is in Great Cornard, near Sudbury. We take briefs across the county, including Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding villages. For a multi-stop commission, send every address together so that travel and photography time are priced as one sensible schedule.
Within 25 driving miles of the quoted base, travel is £0.55 per round-trip mile. Beyond that, mileage is waived and estimated round-trip driving time is charged at £49 per hour. Parking, tolls and other necessary travel costs are agreed separately.
BEFORE THE BOOKING
Questions worth asking.
Can one Suffolk booking cover people and premises?
Yes, provided the scope allows time for both. Tell us which people, rooms and activities are essential. We will agree an order, access arrangements and the number of photographers before quoting.
Do all the photographs on this page come from Suffolk?
Yes. The event photographs are from Platinum Cleaning’s summer party in Ipswich. The property selection shows commissioned Edd Callegari stills in Cavendish and Ipswich, with the individual locations identified in the captions.
Can you photograph a property while it is occupied?
We can plan around an occupied property. Please tell us about access, occupants, rooms that cannot be shown and any belongings that should be removed. We agree the preparation and coverage before the visit.
What happens if the outdoor photographs depend on weather?
We discuss an indoor alternative, a different sequence or a possible rescheduled visit when planning the shoot. Any additional visit and its cost need to be agreed rather than assumed to be included.
How do we agree the finished collection?
We establish the intended uses, priority images, selection approach and finishing requirements before booking. Image quantity and delivery timing depend on the brief; a previous project’s album size is not a fixed package for every shoot.
Can you arrange photography alongside filming?
Yes. List the still photographs and film deliverables separately, especially when important moments happen at the same time. We will propose the time and crew needed for the combined brief.
