BUILT AROUND YOUR BRIEF

The photographs are the first viewing.

Most buyers decide whether to book a viewing from the listing photographs. We photograph each room so it reads clearly, keep colours and proportions honest, and cover the approach, garden and setting as well as the interiors, so the set tells a buyer how the home fits together.

Balanced light, room by room.

We shoot interiors as several bracketed exposures and blend them, so a bright window and the room around it both hold detail. Verticals stay straight and colours stay true to the property. We avoid heavy retouching that would set the wrong expectation at a viewing.

Plan the order of the day.

Send the room list, any features the vendor wants shown and the best time for the garden light. Rooms should be tidy and lights working before we arrive; we move through the house in a sensible order and finish with the exterior, street approach and garden.

Add a film or aerial views when the property needs them.

A larger home or a property where the setting matters can benefit from drone photography or a property tour film made on the same visit. Agree what is needed before the shoot so time and crew are planned properly.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Property Photography: your questions.

Do you photograph for estate agents?

Yes. We have photographed and filmed homes for Edd Callegari, a personal estate agent working across Suffolk and Essex. Agents, landlords and private sellers can all book directly.

How do you handle bright windows?

We capture several exposures of each interior and blend them, so the room and the view through the window both keep their detail.

Can you add drone photographs?

Yes, where the location and airspace allow. Aerial views are planned in advance and depend on the weather on the day.

Can you film a property tour on the same visit?

Yes. Photography and a property film can be planned together; tell us early so we can allow enough time and crew.
