Harriet and Luke were married at All Saints Church in Ramsholt. Overlooking the River Deben, the church was a place Harriet had once pointed out while sailing with Luke as somewhere she wanted to marry. Their day brought that memory together with live music, dancing and fireworks.
The film brings those moods together. A fast opening montage gives a glimpse of the celebrations, before the pace eases back into the people and places at the heart of the wedding.
That balance is central to our wedding videography: finding a rhythm that belongs to the couple and the day.
01 / The shape of the film
A big opening.
Room to breathe.
The first 40 seconds move quickly through the day. It is an introduction to its energy, with the story still to unfold.
Then we slow down. The River Deben introduces a place woven into Harriet’s family history. In the speeches, she recalls sailing, walking and time beside the water with her father. Getting married nearby gave that connection a place in the day.
The change in pace lets the quieter moments register. We explore that editing choice in how to balance energy and emotion in a wedding film.

Harriet wore a gown by Riki Dalal, with makeup by Laura Queen.
Human Nature Events provided the planning, alongside a marquee from Events Under Canvas and catering by Paul Thompson Events.
Party band 29 Fingers was part of the evening celebrations. Wedding videography and the finished film were by The Camera Guys.
