THE BRIEF

A STORY TOLD IN SOPHIE’S OWN WORDS

Sophie Taylor booked The Camera Guys to film a significant personal interview: a conversation about her experience of IBS during a BBC Essex radio appearance.

The commission came directly from Sophie. Our role was to create an honest filmed record of the day and the studio conversation, rather than to produce material on behalf of the broadcaster.

THE APPROACH

PRESENT, BUT NEVER IN THE WAY

Interviews about health can be personal. We kept the filming quiet and observational, working around the live studio setup while preserving the focus on Sophie and the discussion she had chosen to share.

The finished film feels immediate and human: Sophie in the room, the visual cues of broadcast radio and the energy of a real conversation unfolding.
