THE CAMERA GUYS / ZERO EXCHANGE
A hackathon launch
built to move fast.
Animated promotional video for the Zero Exchange Hackathon Competition.
01 / THE PROJECT
Explain the event.
Keep the energy.
Zero Exchange needed a concise animated film for its Hackathon Competition: a piece of campaign content that could introduce the event without losing the pace expected from a technology brand.
The finished edit uses product-interface imagery, bold typography, branded graphic frames and quick transitions. Each element has a clear job: establish the platform, name the competition and land the Zero Exchange identity.
This is a focused example of promotional video production built around information hierarchy as much as visual energy.

04 / THE PRODUCTION LESSON
Short does not mean
structureless.
When an animated promo has only a few moments to work, the order of information matters.
The Zero Exchange film moves from context to announcement to brand. That progression gives the motion graphics a spine and stops the sequence becoming a collection of effects.
We explore that principle in more detail in our article on how to structure a short animated promotional video.
