A TYPICAL EVENT FLIGHT

Over the site, never over the crowd.

Event flights are planned with the organiser: take-off points away from the public, a path that keeps the required distance from people, and timings that catch the arrival, the peak and the finale.

  • Site survey and organiser briefing before the day
  • Separation distances planned for the aircraft and the crowd
  • Timed passes for arrivals, peak crowd and closing moments
  • Footage cut into the event film or delivered as clips for social

WHY IT MATTERS

Scale is the hardest thing to show from the ground.

A crowd of five thousand looks like a crowd of fifty from a camera at head height. From the air, the event reveals its size, its layout and its energy in one shot, and that shot opens next year’s campaign.

Drone coverage sits alongside our event videography and photography, so the aerials cut naturally into the film rather than sitting apart from it.

HOW WE WORK

Safety first, then the shot.

  1. 01

    Survey

Airspace, site layout, take-off areas and crowd lines checked with the organiser.

  2. 02

    Brief

Flight windows agreed with the schedule, security and any other operators.

  3. 03

    Fly

Passes timed to the moments that matter, with a spotter where the site needs one.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Aerial clips and stills, graded to match the ground footage.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions,
answered.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our operators hold current CAA qualifications and we carry public liability insurance for drone operations. We check the airspace and obtain any permissions before we fly.

What if the weather is bad?

We check forecasts the day before and reschedule if wind or rain would make the flight unsafe or the footage poor. Rescheduling for weather is free.

Can you fly near people or buildings?

Within the rules for our aircraft and qualifications, yes. We plan each flight around the site, the people present and the airspace, and will tell you early if something is not permitted.

Can you fly over the crowd?

Flying directly over uninvolved people is restricted. We plan paths beside and around the crowd that still show its scale.

Will the drone disturb the event?

Modern aircraft are quiet at working height; we agree flight windows so the drone is never over the stage during a quiet set or a speech.

Where do you provide this service?

We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Post-production is handled at our studio, so you can send material from anywhere in the country.
