What finishing adds to a photograph.
A good capture is the start. Colour balance, exposure, contrast and local adjustments bring the image to where the eye expected it to be, without making it look processed.

For portraits we agree the level of retouching first: colour and exposure as standard, skin and clothing adjustments only where you ask for them.

WHY IT MATTERS
Consistency across a whole set.
One beautiful image is easy; fifty that match across a website, a brochure and a shop listing is the real job. We process sets so colour, crop and finish are consistent, then retouch the hero images that carry the campaign.
Standard processing is included with our photography. This service covers detailed retouching, product clean-up, background removal and work on images from other photographers.

Can you edit photos from another photographer?
Yes, with the owner’s permission. RAW files give the best results; high-quality JPEGs still edit well for most uses.
What counts as retouching?
Anything beyond global colour and exposure: skin, stray hairs, clothing, reflections, product blemishes, background clean-up and composites.
Can you remove or replace a background?
Yes. Product cut-outs for shop listings and background replacement for portraits are common requests.
How are the files delivered?
Full-resolution and web-sized files, named to your convention, via a download link.
Where do you provide this service?
We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Post-production is handled at our studio, so you can send material from anywhere in the country.
How quickly can you turn it round?
It depends on the length and the number of versions. Tell us about any launch or event date when you enquire and we will plan the schedule around it.
