THE BRIEF

ONE OPENING. MANY MOMENTS THAT COULD NOT BE REPEATED.

Kesseler booked The Camera Guys to film the grand opening of its Witham showroom on Newland Street. The event welcomed invited guests and members of the public into a new luxury-kitchen space, with speeches, demonstrations and a formal ribbon cutting all taking place across the same programme.

The film needed to do more than record a ceremony. It had to show the showroom itself, the people behind the launch and the way the working kitchens came alive when food was being prepared and shared with guests.

THE OPENING

CAPTURING THE CEREMONY AND THE CELEBRATION.

The official opening took place on 13 November 2021 and was led by the then Mayor of Witham, Councillor Angela Kilmartin. It marked Kesseler's tenth UK showroom and brought local residents, business owners and invited press together for the launch.

With a two-person camera team, we could hold the important ceremonial moments while a second perspective followed the reactions around them. That made the ribbon cutting and guest contributions feel part of a living event rather than a sequence of isolated shots.

LIVE IN THE SHOWROOM

THE KITCHENS BECAME PART OF THE STORY.

The launch included demonstrations from a Smeg home economist and a Kaelo demonstrator. Food was prepared inside the showroom's working kitchens for visitors and invited guests, giving us movement, interaction and tactile detail to build into the film.

Close coverage of ingredients, appliances and preparation was balanced with wider views of the showroom and its guests. The finished sequence shows the product in use while retaining the warmth and energy of the event around it.

For launches where demonstrations, speakers and guests overlap, a professional event-video crew helps protect the moments that happen only once.
