THE BRIEF
SELL THE EXPERIENCE, NOT ONLY THE PUMPKINS.
Wasing needed promotional content for its annual Pick Your Own Pumpkins and Woodland Trail event near Aldermaston. The attraction combines an autumn walk through decorated woodland with the simple pleasure of choosing a pumpkin from the field.
Our film had to communicate the whole visit: arriving with a wheelbarrow, exploring the trail, discovering playful installations and reaching the open pumpkin patch. The emphasis was on genuine family experience rather than a catalogue of attractions.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
THE CAMPAIGN
Promotional film
A complete visitor journey shaped into one concise seasonal story.
Social content
Colourful, immediately recognisable moments suited to autumn promotion.
Location filming
Natural coverage across woodland paths, installations and open fields.
Post-production
A warm, energetic edit designed around families, movement and discovery.
THE VISITOR JOURNEY
A STORY THAT UNFOLDS THROUGH THE WOODS.
We followed the route in the same order as a visitor, using the woodland trail as the film's natural structure. Signs, colourful mushrooms, pumpkins and small discoveries provide visual milestones before the landscape opens into the field.
This approach helps viewers understand that Wasing offers more than a quick stop to collect a pumpkin. The walking, looking and anticipation are part of the day, so the video gives those moments enough room to register.
For attractions and seasonal destinations, event videography in Berkshire works best when the camera experiences the place with the visitor rather than simply observing it from outside.
REAL FAMILIES, REAL MOMENTS
FILMING THE FUN WITHOUT INTERRUPTING IT.
The strongest moments came from families moving naturally through the event: children spotting the next woodland feature, adults helping with wheelbarrows and everyone searching the field for the right pumpkin.
We worked observationally and used a mix of wide environmental frames and close details. Low camera angles bring the viewer closer to a child's perspective, while longer views keep the scale and rural character of Wasing visible.
The result feels active and welcoming without asking visitors to perform for the camera—an important balance when corporate videography and brand-led event films are built around real people.
