THE CLEAN-UP, VISUALISED
Noise down. Voice up.
Switch between a location recording and the same passage after clean-up. The red bars are the noise floor you hear as hum, hiss and traffic; the gold bars are the voice.
- Hum, hiss and air-conditioning removed without hollowing the voice
- Levels evened out between speakers and scenes
- Music and effects mixed under the dialogue, not over it
- Loudness set for the platform, from YouTube to broadcast

WHY IT MATTERS
Viewers forgive a soft image. They never forgive bad sound.
A muffled interview, a lavalier rubbing on a jacket, a fridge humming in a kitchen: small things that make people switch off. Careful sound work fixes what it can, hides what it cannot and makes the whole film easier to listen to.
We edit and mix sound as part of our own productions and on footage supplied by others. Send a short clip first; we will tell you honestly what can be improved.

HOW WE WORK
From a rough mix to a finished one.
- 01
Listen
We audit the material on monitors and headphones and note every problem by timecode.
- 02
Repair
Noise reduction, de-click, de-ess and de-reverb where it helps, applied lightly so the voice stays natural.
- 03
Balance
Dialogue levelled, music ducked under speech, effects placed where they add meaning.
- 04
Master
Loudness and true-peak set for each destination, with stems supplied if you need them.
CLEAR RATES. AN AGREED SCOPE.
Know what goes into the quote.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Your questions,
answered.
Can you rescue a recording with bad background noise?
Often, to a point. Steady noise such as hum or hiss cleans up well; a loud conversation behind the speaker cannot be removed. Send a clip and we will tell you what is realistic.
Can you add music?
Yes. We use licensed music libraries and can also work with tracks you have cleared.
Do you do voiceover?
We can record and edit voiceover and source voice artists through our voiceover service.
Can you deliver separate stems?
Yes: dialogue, music and effects as separate files if your team needs them.
Where do you provide this service?
We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Post-production is handled at our studio, so you can send material from anywhere in the country.
How quickly can you turn it round?
It depends on the length and the number of versions. Tell us about any launch or event date when you enquire and we will plan the schedule around it.
