Hampshire Business Show · exhibitor interview

LIVE DEMO

Same clip, four caption styles.

Captions are part of the design, not an afterthought. Try the styles on one of our interview clips; the words below are sample captions to show timing and placement.

  • Transcribed by people, not only machines, then checked against the audio
  • Timed to the cut so lines never cross an edit
  • Styled to your brand, or burned in for platforms that strip caption files
  • Open captions, closed captions (SRT, VTT) or both

WHY IT MATTERS

Captions reach the people the audio cannot.

Viewers on a train, in an office or with a hearing loss all rely on captions. On LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok the sound is often off by default, so the first three seconds of text decide whether anyone stays.

We caption our own productions and films you already have. Accuracy comes first: names, technical terms and brand names are checked with you before delivery.

HOW WE WORK

From transcript to on-screen text.

  1. 01

    Transcribe

A full transcript, checked by a person, with speaker names and timestamps.

  2. 02

    Time

Lines are placed to the edit and the speech rhythm, never too fast to read.

  3. 03

    Style

Open captions designed to your brand, or caption files for platforms and players.

  4. 04

    Translate

Subtitles in other languages through our translation partners, timed to the same cues.

CLEAR RATES. AN AGREED SCOPE.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions,
answered.

What is the difference between subtitles and captions?

Captions reproduce the speech and relevant sounds for viewers who cannot hear the audio. Subtitles translate or transcribe dialogue, usually for viewers who can hear. We produce both.

Can you caption films you did not make?

Yes. Send the finished film and we will return it with captions, or supply the caption file on its own.

Which file formats do you provide?

SRT and VTT caption files, burned-in versions, and square or vertical versions with the captions laid out for each shape.

Can you do other languages?

Yes, through translators we work with. Tell us the languages and we will quote per minute.

Where do you provide this service?

We are Suffolk-based and work across Essex, London and the UK. Post-production is handled at our studio, so you can send material from anywhere in the country.

How quickly can you turn it round?

It depends on the length and the number of versions. Tell us about any launch or event date when you enquire and we will plan the schedule around it.
