A FILM WITH A PURPOSE

Explain care clearly. Protect the people in it.

Health and care organisations need films that are accurate, calm and easy to follow: a service explained to families, a training procedure staff can return to, a conference recorded for people who could not attend, or care workers describing why they do the job. We plan each film around the audience, the approved message and the people who will appear in it.

Filming in care settings needs more preparation than most shoots. We agree consent, privacy, infection-control rules and no-filming areas with your team in advance, keep the crew small, and work around residents, patients and staff rather than the other way round. For staff learning, see our training video production; for events, conference filming.

THE WORK IN CONTEXT

My Home Life England

My Home Life England project

My Home Life England's programme films, testimonials and anniversary conference recording show our work for the adult social care sector. We have not published NHS or clinical commissions, and this page does not claim them.

My Home Life England case study

BUILT AROUND YOUR BRIEF

From the first idea to the finished film.

Patient, resident and family information

Short films that explain a service, a visit, a procedure or what to expect, written in plain language and checked by your clinical or care lead before anything is published. Subtitles and versions for screens, websites and social channels can be planned from the start.

Training and professional development

Demonstrations, procedures and reflective interviews that staff can watch at their own pace. As with My Home Life England's programme days, we can film the learning in the room observationally and record participants describing what changed in their practice.

Conferences, AGMs and events

Multi-camera recordings of speakers and panels, highlight edits, short interviews with delegates and event photography from one booking. Live streaming is available for audiences who cannot attend in person.

Recruitment and culture

Care workers, nurses, managers and volunteers explaining the work in their own words, filmed in real settings with proper consent, to help the right people apply.

Consent, privacy and approvals

Your team decides who can be filmed and what must stay out of shot. We use signed release forms, avoid identifiable patient information, follow your site policies and give you approval of every edit before release.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your questions,
answered.

Practical details about healthcare & care video production.

Have you worked in the health and care sector?

Yes. For My Home Life England, which supports care home managers and care leaders, we filmed two professional development programme days in Chelmsford and the organisation's 20th-anniversary conference at City St George's, University of London. We have not published NHS or clinical projects, so each example on this page is described exactly as it happened.

Can you film in a care home, clinic or hospital?

Yes, with the permission of the organisation and the people being filmed. We agree consent, infection-control and safeguarding requirements, filming times and any areas or information that must not appear on camera before the day, and we keep the crew deliberately small.

How do you handle consent and patient privacy?

Everyone who appears on camera signs a release, and residents or patients are only filmed where your team confirms it is appropriate and consent is in place. We avoid screens, records and anything that could identify a patient, and you approve the edit before it is used.

Who checks the medical or care information?

Your nominated clinical or care lead approves the script, the on-screen wording and the final edit. We shape the film so the approved information is clear; we do not write clinical advice ourselves.

Can you produce training videos for staff?

Yes. We film demonstrations, step-by-step procedures and interviews, and can deliver chaptered versions for a learning platform. See our training video production page for how we structure them.

Can you record and stream a health or care conference?

Yes. We record speakers with several cameras, capture delegate interviews and photography, and can stream the event to a remote audience. Livestreaming starts at £349 for the first on-location hour, then £99 per hour.

How much does healthcare video production cost?

Filming starts at £249 for the first on-location hour per operator and £99 for each additional hour, and editing is £49 per hour. We quote the complete project around preparation, crew, filming, editing, travel and approvals, and no VAT is currently added to our prices. See our current production rates.

Where do you work?
