A performance recording needs the whole stage and the detail within it: movement, expression, timing and the relationship between performers. We work with the production team to plan coverage that follows the show while respecting the audience and venue.
Our multi-camera filming gives the edit flexibility. Promotional teasers, complete recordings and performance photography each need a place in the brief.

We discuss desk feeds and additional recording as appropriate to dialogue, music and audience response. A technically clean feed still needs to feel connected to the live room.
Choose the finished version
A full show preserves continuity; a trailer selects moments for promotion. We agree which rights and permissions are available for recording and distribution before planning public release.

Practical details about theatre & performance filming.
Can you film a dress rehearsal?
Yes, subject to availability and the venue’s agreement. A rehearsal can offer more flexible camera positions, while a live show provides audience energy. We discuss the balance with your production team.
Do you arrange music and performance rights?
You should confirm the necessary recording and distribution permissions with the relevant rights holders. Tell us any restrictions so the filming and delivery plan respects them.
Can you provide photographs as well?
Yes. We plan a dedicated photographer where stills and continuous video are required at the same time, including any no-flash requirements.
Where do you provide this service?

How is the project priced?
The quote reflects preparation, crew, filming time, editing and the agreed deliverables. Travel and any specialist requirements are considered separately. See our current production rates and videographer cost guide, then send a brief for a scoped quote.
When will the finished work be delivered?
We agree a delivery schedule and review stages before production. Tell us about a fixed launch or event deadline at the start so we can allow for editing, feedback and the required versions.
