THE RELATIONSHIP
MORE THAN ONE FILM. AN EXPANDING RECORD OF A BUSINESS IN DELIVERY.
Root-Power first brought us into individual project stories. As the relationship developed, the work grew into a broader content library covering construction progress, team expertise, completed infrastructure and community partnerships.
The commissions have taken us from the Coryton BESS site in Essex to Tillingdown Farm in Surrey, Denby Pottery in Derbyshire and South Essex Wildlife Hospital. Some shoots focused on technical delivery; others showed the organisations and communities connected to a project.
That continuity matters. Working with the same production team means visual standards, interview handling and technical understanding carry from one location to the next, while every film still has its own purpose and audience. It is a practical model for ongoing corporate video production.

THE PROJECT LIBRARY
FOUR STORIES. ONE CONTINUING PARTNERSHIP.
Returning as the project changed.
Two visits produced three films showing Coryton at different stages of construction. Interviews, ground-level cinematography and drone footage documented the 11MW / 22MWh project, while the return visit added carefully prompted contributions from Root-Power's delivery and asset-management team.
The later shoot also demanded substantial dialogue restoration and selective visual cleanup because the operational site was exceptionally loud and visually complex.
Two expert updates in approximately two hours.
One videographer recorded talking-to-camera pieces with Project Engineer Enock Semakula and Head of Development Sarah Lightfoot. A teleprompter supported accurate delivery of the site's development phases, plans and longer-term vision.
The Tillingdown stop was combined with a later SEWH shoot in one booked day, reducing repeat travel and call-out costs while keeping both briefs independent.

In 2026, Root-Power commissioned a dedicated one-day Denby shoot with one videographer and one photographer. We produced two talking-to-camera films centred on the company's people and expanding capability.
Dan Moore explains solar co-location and why generation and storage can work together. Sarah Lightfoot examines what makes a viable site, including grid capacity, land and access, planning and environmental constraints, buildability and commercial delivery.
Created for brand awareness and marketing as well as internal communications, the films support Root-Power's broader story: taking energy projects from early assessment and development through construction, handover and long-term operation.

Root-Power asked us to document its partnership with South Essex Wildlife Hospital and show how support connected to the Coryton BESS Community Wealth Fund helps the charity's rescue and rehabilitation work.
The film broadened the content library beyond engineering progress. Staff, animals and day-to-day activity made the community impact tangible without turning the funding message into an abstract corporate statement.
