THE ENGINEERING. THE PEOPLE. THE PURPOSE.

MAKE A COMPLEX
PROJECT CLICK.

Your team understands the infrastructure. Your next customer, investor or neighbour may be seeing it for the first time.

We bring together the people who can explain it and the footage that makes it tangible: the layout of a site, the detail of an installation, the work happening around it. The result is a film with a clear job to do.

That might be a solar customer story, a battery-storage update or a series following delivery across several locations. We plan the production around the audience and the decisions they need to make.

REAL LOCATIONS. COMMISSIONED WORK.

Coryton battery energy storage project filmed for Root-Power

BATTERY STORAGE · PROJECT PROGRESS

Root-Power · Coryton BESS

Two visits, three films and a development moving forward. Interviews, site coverage and drone footage gave Root-Power a record of different stages at Coryton, with careful sound work on a noisy industrial site.

DEVELOPMENT · EXPERT UPDATES

Root-Power · Tillingdown

A compact location shoot put the development and engineering teams in front of the camera. Teleprompter-supported contributions helped each speaker cover the agreed detail clearly, with footage connecting their words to the site.

A FILM FOR THE STAGE YOU ARE AT

ONE SITE.
A CHANGING STORY.

A first announcement and an operational case study need different material. Choose a stage to see how the filming brief can develop.

01 · DEVELOPMENT

Give people a way into the story.

Start with the location, the intended purpose and the team behind the proposal. An expert-led introduction can give a non-specialist audience useful context without asking them to decipher a technical presentation.

  • Team interviews
  • Site-context footage

02 · CONSTRUCTION

Build a visible record of progress.

Plan filming around meaningful milestones, access windows and the people available to explain them. Repeat viewpoints and clearly dated updates help a series feel connected as the site changes.

  • Milestone updates
  • Ground and aerial coverage
  • Short stakeholder clips

03 · OPERATION

Let the customer and the site tell it together.

Bring the finished installation into the context of the business using it. A customer interview, the working environment and agreed performance information can form a useful case study for sales conversations and future projects.

BUILT AROUND A WORKING SITE

GOOD FILMS START
BEFORE THE CAMERAS.

01

Make the day workable

We plan access, inductions, escorts, PPE and filming areas with your site contact. Contributor time, noisy equipment and weather all shape the schedule.

02

Give expertise a clear voice

Focused interviews, monitored sound and optional teleprompter support help your team communicate confidently. Your specialists approve the technical detail.

03

Show scale and detail

Ground footage brings people and equipment into focus. Drone filming can add the wider context, where flight conditions and permissions allow.

MAKE THE SHOOT WORK HARDER

ONE PRODUCTION.
MORE WAYS TO USE IT.

Agree the deliverables at the start. We can build a coordinated set of content around the same location access and contributors.

01 / THE MAIN STORY

A film with a purpose

A project introduction, customer case study or milestone update, with a clear structure and an audience in mind.

02 / THE SHORT VERSIONS

Useful beyond launch day

Short interview extracts, captioned social edits and different aspect ratios, scoped alongside the main film.

03 / THE IMAGE LIBRARY

Stills that belong with the film

Installation imagery, working portraits and people on site, captured by a dedicated photographer when required.

BEYOND THE INSTALLATION

Some of the strongest stories happen away from the equipment. Our Root-Power-commissioned wildlife hospital film explores a community partnership. Our YLEM and Terra Firma case study shows wider energy-sector work at a gas peaking plant; it is a separate example from our renewable-generation projects.

PLANNING THE PRODUCTION

YOUR QUESTIONS.
CLEAR ANSWERS.

Which energy projects can you film?

We plan films for solar installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and wider energy infrastructure. Our featured work includes Power-Zero at Denby Pottery and Root-Power at Coryton and Tillingdown. For wind or another technology, tell us the location, access requirements and brief so we can confirm a suitable production approach.

Can you explain technical subjects to a non-technical audience?

Yes. We shape the interview questions, structure and supporting visuals around what the audience needs to understand. Your technical team checks the facts, terminology, figures and project status; we make the approved information clear on screen. Teleprompter support can help when wording needs to be precise.

Do you film on active construction and operational sites?

Yes, subject to the site's access and safety arrangements. We agree inductions, PPE, escorts, approved filming areas and any restrictions with your site contact before filming. Noisy plant, confidential screens and other contractors are considered in the schedule and shot plan.

Can drone filming be included?

Yes, where the location, permissions, airspace and weather allow. Aerials can establish the site layout and complement ground-level footage. Drone work is scoped separately, and the production plan should not depend on a flight being possible in every condition.

Can we book regular filming across several sites?

Yes. We can plan a sequence of site visits and keep the interview style, graphics and delivery formats consistent. Where timings and travel make sense, compatible briefs can share a production day. Each location still needs enough time for access, setup and the agreed coverage.

Can you supply photographs as well as video?

Yes. We can include a dedicated photographer for installation images, people at work and portraits. The Power-Zero commission at Denby combined video and photography in one day. A dedicated photographer is particularly useful when important moments need both types of coverage at once.

Can you make shorter versions for LinkedIn and other channels?

Yes. We can plan a main film alongside short interview excerpts, vertical edits, captions and stills. Agree the formats and number of versions before filming so the framing, interview questions and edit time support the whole set of deliverables.

How do you handle environmental or performance claims?

We ask for the source and approval of any capacity, savings, emissions or performance figures used in the film. Estimates are identified as estimates and proposed outcomes are distinguished from results already achieved. Battery storage is described as storage, rather than being presented as renewable generation in its own right.

How is an energy-sector production priced?

The quote separates filming, editing, additional crew, equipment and travel. Published operator and editing rates provide a starting point, while site access, drone work, the number of visits and the finished deliverables determine the full scope. We agree the cost before the shoot.

Where do you work, and how soon can the film be ready?

We are based in Suffolk and work across the UK. The production and delivery schedule is agreed around site access, contributor availability, editing and client review. If a launch, investor update or announcement has a fixed date, include it in your enquiry so we can plan backwards from that deadline.
